Origami

Origami is an art of paper folding which is associated with japanese culture. The goal of this art form is to transform flat sheet of paper into a a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques.

The word "ORIGAMI" comes from the japanese language where 'ori' means folded and 'kami' means paper.

Origami is unique among paper crafts as it requires no other material except paper. Cutting, Gluing or drawing on paper are also avoided. Only paper folding is done to get desired results.

No special skills or artistic talent is essentially required for this work, just a large amount of patience is what you need the most. Some take origami as a way to entertain, while some think it has a calming and relaxing effect.
No special tool is required for creating origami artworks.

Some beautiful examples of origami artworks are:

"God does origami too, but he does it with people instead of paper." 😊💖
