Now I am going to tell you about an extremely unique and beautiful work of art i.e., ART ON PENCIL. It is an extremely difficult yet so creative form of art.
Most of the artists use pencil to create an artwork but there are some creative ones who creates an artwork on the pencil , using them at the place of canvas. Isn't this an extremely creative idea??
This concept was introduced to the world by DALTON GHETTI. He works as a carpenter and has been working on this graphite works for about 25 years.
Dalton uses three basic tools to make his incredible creations - a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife.
The longest period of time Dalton took to create a single artwork was two and half years on a pencil with interlinking chains.
It is obvious that many pencils were broken by him during the initial stages, this make him feel nervous and hesitated some of the time. Also there were some days when he almost completed his creation but unfortunately the pencil used to break down before completion. But this gave him more and more courage to restart the art work and this is the thing which we all need to learn...."Never to give up ".
Dalton who was born in Brazil, has a box full of more than 100 sculptures that were broken while working on them. He named it 'cemetery collection'.
