Doodle Art Information

The doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be composed of random and abstract lines, generally without ever lifting the drawing device from the paper, in which case it is usually called a "scribble".

      History :

Doodling has been around since the oldest cave paintings 40,000 years ago. Back in those days, prehistoric men use to draw images on cave walls to communicate and tell a story . Cavemen use stones and sticks to draw abstract patterns, human hands, and wild animals. In around 3200 B.C., the drawings advanced from cave walls to clay tablets. Some rescued tablets from the Mesopotamian societies were said to have the same random images on the edges and sides of the clay pieces.

Although these two developments became the stepping stones that started the art form, doodle itself wasn’t about drawing at all. The closest English term to describe it is “scribble”. In fact, the origin of the word tells a different and comical story.

Power of       doodle: Doodling has been defined as “drawing or scribbling          aimlessly,”. If you can believe it, doodling has the capacity to improve memory, focus, and recognition. It is a form of expression that, says HELLER , “often triggers insights and discoveries that aren’t possible through words alone. Doodling is one way all people – artistically inclined or not – can remain visual thinkers. We should never forget the power of losing yourself in a blank page.

Mission of doodle : The mission of  DoodleArt is to bring colour and creativity to the world. In a high- tech, fast-paced society, DoodleArt offers a creative and relaxing way to unplug from the electronic world.

" Keep doodling....Enjoy doodling"
